26 ft - Aletheia
26 ft - Aletheia
Aletheia, which in Greek means "truth", was born from the desire of one of our customers to sail on a boat with a round hull, with elegant classic lines and good seaworthiness characteristics, safe if sailed alone.
Despite its size and a plan design characterized by the typical Norwegian stern, the space below deck has been designed to make the most of every centimeter of the hull. The layout includes: a kitchen with sink and fridge, bathroom, living area with double seat and correspondence, which can be transformed into a comfortable berth for the night.
Aletheia is equipped with a Marconi rig with self-tacking jib and Genoa tacked on a bowsprit, to make the most of the boat from a wide beat to a reach beam.
The project was designed for wooden construction with the composite strip planking technique (wood + epoxy resin and fibreglass), to have an excellent relationship between lightness and resistance. For movements without the aid of sails and for maneuvers in port, the installation of a 13 HP inboard inboard engine or an outboard engine with a support on the side is required.
